Book Review

"The Wine-Dark Sea"
by
Leonardo Sciascia

Paul purchased this interesting book through a long and complicated mailing process (is there any other kind in Italy?).

I just finished reading Sciascia's book which consists of 13 short stories about life in his native Sicily.  His tales range in subject from village idiots to mafia dons and from marital spats to American dreams.  As always, it helped me understand a little more about what makes Sicily so downright Sicilian.
