Dale and the Volcano

On Saturday night, May 10th, at 7:30 p.m. I got a phone call from Davide. The first part of the phone call was the now routine news that Jason had left his helmet at the practice field but Davide had found it.

The second piece of news was a bit more interesting. After 130 days in Sicily, Mt. Etna was active and spewing molten red lava!

We dropped everything and Jason, Christie and Dale joined me in a drive up Mt. Etna's Sud approach to get a look.

As you can see from Dale's two pictures, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!

WOW!

Holy Guacamole!
